Contest Guidelines + word limit: 1000-2000 words + must be a new piece (as in, written for this contest) + it has to be prose (obviously) + must be some interpretation of one of the themes. i'll keep it loose, but it has to at least be recognizable. + Deadline October 31 Theme + blurred boundaries + rebirth + freedom + "the prison of ourselves" Submitting When submitting the deviation to DA, please put which them you chose in the description. 1. How many people are running this? And will they reveal who they are? there are currently five of us working on this, and no, we're not going to reveal who we are, because realistically, it doesn't matter. we're simply very bored people acting as facilitators. 2. lost-souls (https://www.deviantart.com/lost-souls) has out-lived its usefulness, I think. This has probably been a long time coming, but I think it's time to simply allow it to rest. Thank you to those who've participated and put up with our inconsistency, management changes and general unpredictability. I've encountered several writers through lost-souls (https://www.deviantart.com/lost-souls) I would've otherwise missed out on, and I hope to continue seeing great things from you. Winners for the February contests will be announced next week, and prizes awarded shortly thereafter.
